Challenges
Prologue Challenges
·
For the Prologue, plan separate stealth and kill-or-flee attempts. Sweeping the courtyard for orderlies is a different task from leaving without being noticed; mixing the two makes a failed run harder to diagnose.
Objectives With Current Evidence
| Objective | Practical approach | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Challenge 6: kill or make the orderlies flee | Sweep beyond the first courtyard encounter before escaping | Player descriptions; tracking fix named in 1.0.2 |
| Undetected route | Watch the opening orderly's turn, then move behind him without crossing into other patrols' sightlines | Community route |
| Telephone-pole execution | Use the environmental execution at the intended pole, not an ordinary kill beside it | Community reports |
These are the documented problem objectives, not a complete transcription of the chapter menu.
Getting Past the First Orderly
A September 5 player route recommends waiting through the first orderly's left/right look before passing, and warns that going beyond the stone wall exposes Michael to other orderlies. The post's title says Chapter 1, but its author corrects that to Prologue.
Use the patrol movement as a timing cue, not a promise that a specific number of seconds is safe. Keep the camera on the next patrol as well as the guard immediately in front of you. If spotted, a dedicated retry is easier to evaluate than continuing while trying to infer whether the alert counted.
Finding Remaining Orderlies
Players comparing Challenge 6 attempts report missing orderlies outside the obvious courtyard path. One successful player counted twelve; that is a community count, not an independently verified spawn map.
A useful search method is to revisit the entrance, driveway, and courtyard in a consistent loop. Keep track of victims who fled separately from those killed. Do not assume that seeing no one in the first area means the entire objective is finished.
Telephone-Pole Attempts
Post-patch players still describe confusion around the pole objective. Before retrying, check whether you used the actual execution interaction and the intended object. A grab, melee kill, and environmental execution are different events.
The linked player advice describes tier-one Stalk in this section; do not import Chapter 4's tier-three setup into this encounter. If your current objective text differs, preserve a screenshot rather than following a conflicting checklist.
Patch and Save Checks
The official 1.0.2 notes name a Prologue Challenge 6 tracking fix. Update before testing old alarm/checkpoint workarounds. The fix does not explicitly cover every stealth or telephone-pole complaint.
Finish the chapter, return to its menu, and confirm the stored result. If the chapter restarts with nothing saved, capture that separately from a challenge that simply never triggers.
