Halloween: The Game physical copies are scheduled for October 6, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The announced Standard package costs $39.99 USD and the Limited Collector's Edition costs $149.99 USD.
Both contain the game on disc, according to the official physical-edition announcement and FAQ. These are different products from the September digital release and Digital Deluxe Edition.

The publisher also mentions additional surprises in the Collector's package without identifying them. This table lists named contents, not guessed collectibles. The announcement describes limited quantities but does not give a verified numbered production run.
What does cosmetic advance access mean?
The physical FAQ says these cosmetics unlock immediately for owners of the relevant package and can also be earned by completing in-game challenges. That makes advance access to the cosmetic different from an assertion that the item can only ever be owned by a collector.
It is also different from access to the game itself. The October physical package does not, by this wording alone, let its purchaser begin playing in early September. For the actual early gameplay offer, the digital pre-order FAQ identifies eligible Digital Deluxe pre-orders and a September 4 start.
Does a physical pre-order include Phantom Michael Myers?
No: the physical FAQ expressly identifies Phantom as a digital pre-order exclusive. Physical buyers should use the physical package list rather than transferring bonuses from a digital store advertisement.
Likewise, the named physical Civilian cosmetics should not be confused with the two exclusive playable Civilians in Digital Deluxe. A costume and a playable character are separate kinds of content. The announcement does not say the disc Collector's Edition automatically includes the Digital Deluxe character bundle.
Which console can use the disc?
The announced physical platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X. A disc purchase requires compatible disc-reading hardware; verify your particular console's disc-drive configuration before ordering. An Xbox Series S is not the physical Xbox platform named in this announcement.

When should I expect the copy?
October 6 is the announced physical release date, whereas the latest digital launch announcement still gives September 8. Neither date guarantees that a retailer ships a particular order early or delivers it on release day.
Check your retailer's region, exact platform SKU, stock, delivery estimate and checkout currency. This wiki has not verified live inventory or international shipping, and the publisher's US list price is not a universal landed cost.
Is the PS5 Collector's Edition a different content tier?
The official announcement covers PS5 and Xbox Series X under the same Limited Collector's package description. It does not establish a PS5-only bonus tier. Confirm the platform on the actual product listing, especially if a retailer abbreviates the edition name.
